GXS on Azure - Cloud
computing and the enterprise
by
Justin
Duewel-Zahniser,
Global Product Manager
at GXS
GXS—a global leader in B2B
e-commerce and integration
services—began a project to
extend their Trading Grid
platform for supply chain
automation with value-add
services built on third
party cloud computing
technologies. Through their
partnership with Microsoft,
GXS is developing and
enhancing a trading
partnership analytics
service called
Trading Partner Analytics.
The solution serves a dual
role of providing
interesting new value to
existing Trading Grid
customers and allowing GXS
to gain field experience
with cloud technologies and
business models in
parallel. Developed in
conjunction with a Microsoft
partner, the project also
demonstrates the value of a
robust partner community in
providing scalable
development resources on
demand

Improving B2B
Partnerships through better Supply Chain
Visibility by
Satya Samal, Head of Sales at Infosys
Globalization and challenges in economy are
pushing companies to re-engineer their
supply chain. The need to have actionable
information from across the company’s value
network is increasing every day.
Unfortunately the IT infrastructure
supporting today’s supply network is a
bottleneck, but companies are struggling
re-haul this infrastructure given the
investment needed. Microsoft
Supply Chain Visibility
addresses this challenge effectively. Built
using latest Microsoft technology, SCV
solution is lean and easy to deploy. It
enables B2B collaboration and visibility
while obviating the need for major
investment in the IT landscape. |
