About Us - User Group
EDIFICE
is the European User Group for the Electronics Industry
and supports and promotes those Industry Standards which are of relevance to
the membership.
For traditional EDI implementations, the supported standard is UN/EDIFACT,
for XML, the Industry standard is RosettaNet.
EDIFICE is the European
RosettaNet User Group.
The User Group is open to
RosettaNet Users within the Electronics and other industries.
EDIFICE invites interested
parties to join the EDIFICE business
area task groups where they can discuss their RosettaNet deployment issues
and find solutions in collaboration with
RosettaNet Europe.
The User Group drives the global RosettaNet
standard by ensuring that the specific European requirements are met.
RosettaNet is a Permanent Observer in EDIFICE
and is committed to fully support the User Group. RosettaNet Europe is
represented at the quarterly plenary meetings
by which the membership has the opportunity to address RosettaNet directly. Task
groups report on their activities at these quarterly meetings. This keeps the
entire User Group up-to-date about the major developments within the industry.
EDIFICE members share their experiences by
presenting their B2B/RosettaNet strategies and achievements in the form of case
studies. The RosettaNet User Group members share their Deployment roadmap which
provides their trading partners a clear view on their RosettaNet capabilities.
EDIFICE enabled
success stories are published and aid the industry to speed up RosettaNet
deployment in Europe.

message guidelines (MIGs) approved by the Electronics Industry.
