What was the highlight of the 112th Plenary and Why?
  • Cisco Keynote: Paula's preso was right to the point on where the Business should go. Good stuff
  • GXS: building customized SC seems from a user perspective simple; presentation was well thought through
  • Cisco: strong message for lightweight formats to support non permanent connections; discovery of AS4; relevant to our present project with Cisco
  • Crossgate: Emphasising that B2B for SMEs starts in their application
  • ODETTE: seeing solutions from other industries faced with common challenges
  • E2open: Good overview of SME challenge
  • SolveDirect: we started to work with them and it looks promising
  • New expectations in B2B; New impulses in RosettaNet
  • The concept of considering the user first and thinking about how easy a tool/solution can be made.
  • Panel Discussion 1: specially Jan's comparison of the "big guys" and SMEs to Gulliver and the people of Lilliput. Also the thought to minimize messages to the absolute necessary - multiple small message definitions to cover all different business scenarios instead of having a "big" standard that you have to customize.
  • The panel discussion 2: lots of different/interesting ideas were discussed in various facets
  • All in all a very open SME talk
  • Chance to discover EDIFICE: how we can become member
  • Networking: contacts with potential partners and solution providers
  • Venue excellent, Meal excellent, Meeting content relevant and current
